History of Badrinath

slopes of a peak named Swargarohini in western Garhwal. If legend has to be believed, the Pandavas passed through Badrinath for reaching Swargarohini. There is a place named Mana, just 4 kms from Badrinath where saint Vyas wrote Mahabharata inside a cave.
